How we breathe has a powerful effect on our physiology and, with that, on our mind.  We will start this class with the breathing exercise from the Wim Hof Method. During WHM breathing exercise you will influence your nervous system and the physiological responses with it. This breathing exercise improves your energy levels, detoxes the body, relieves stress and tension, and strengthens your immune system. You will feel relaxed and reborn after this exercise.

After the powerful WHM breathing exercise, we will move into the softer part of the workshop, the Deep Relax Yoga Nidra, to deepen your experience.

Yoga Nidra is a relaxation meditation that leads you to a more extensive state of consciousness, by slowing down brain activity and deep relaxation of the physical body. You enter a deep sleep state where your body returns to its purest self and self healing is activated.

With these two practices combined, we believe that this workshop will give you an experience that you will remember for a long time!

Bineke Verdegaal:
From an early age I have searched for the balance between head and heart. Apart from my enthusiasm for numbers and logic, I have always had an interest for personal development and coaching. This resulted in 2014 in an engineering degree and a yoga teacher diploma. Now I work as a project manager in the renewable energy market on one hand, and coach people towards a happier, healthier and stronger version of themselves as a WHM Instructor on the other hand. The common denominator in my work is this head-heart balance; the use of a structured approach working towards your goals, and using your heart as a guide.
