Yoga Basics Mini Course

Introduction to Yoga
Wednesday 11, 18, 25 September and 2 October 2019 20:00-21:30

In 4 classes of each 1,5 hours you are going to learn the fundamentals of yoga. This powerful program will introduce you to the basic yoga techniques to help you create flexibility, strengthen your body and a peaceful mind. 

You’ll be introduced to breath/movement synchronization (vinyasa) at a slow pace. There will be plenty of room for questions on the learnings of all the techniques. These 4 classes will provide a solid foundation in the practice of yoga, giving you all the support to start (or reawaken) your yoga practice. 

What you will learn:

  • Intro into what is yoga
  • Basic breathing techniques
  • Sun salutations 
  • Basic standing postures, the warriors
  • Basic backbends
  • Sitting postures
  • Meditation

All the postures will be repeated, to give a solid foundation for following vinyasa styled classes. 

The group will be small, so there’s lots of  personal attention, so that you can find out what works best for you. After this course you will be able to start your group classes or home practice. 

There’s no need to be experienced in yoga or meditation and you don’t need to be flexible or fit to participate in this course.
